Here is my tip:

Always use the "Lock-On Button"!!!!! The default "Lock-On Button" is "Z". This will especially help you in multiplayer when you are going one-on-one. More often than not, you will come out victorious.

Proof that it works:

Before I knew about this button, I was getting a Kill to Death Ratio of about 1 kill for every 8 deaths. The first game that I started using the "Lock-On Button", I got 30 kills and only 11 deaths! This helps enormously!!!!
